# Create and Secure Links

<Steps>

    Open **Links → Create Link** and set destination URL plus short path.

    Assign campaign, folder, tags, and UTM defaults if required.

    Configure password protection, expiration date, and click limits.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Validate routing output">
    Save and open the short URL on desktop and mobile paths.

  Use one naming convention for short paths (brand + intent + channel) so operations and analytics filters stay predictable.
