# Import Links and Migrate from Other Tools

## Migration workflow

1. Export links from current provider.
2. Clean fields (destination, short path, tags/folders, campaign mapping).
3. Import in batches and verify import summary.
4. Validate a sample set of high-traffic links.
5. Cut over domain traffic after final verification.

## Risk controls

* Freeze edits in old system during final cutover window.
* Keep rollback DNS plan ready.
* Verify top links first, then long-tail links.

## Validation checklist

* Confirm the change appears in the correct workspace context.
* Confirm expected UI behavior on desktop and mobile.
* Confirm analytics/events reflect the action.
* Confirm role/permission boundaries are respected.
