# Create and Configure a Workspace

## Goal

Create a production-ready workspace with correct identity, default currency, and governance settings.

## Steps

1. Open **Dashboard → Workspace Settings**.
2. Set workspace name, logo, and branding.
3. Set default reporting currency.
4. Review plan and feature gates.
5. Save settings and reload the dashboard to verify persistence.

## Validation checklist

* Workspace name/logo render correctly in sidebar and topbar.
* Default currency appears in analytics and billing contexts.
* Plan-gated features expected for your tier are visible.

## Common mistakes

* Setting the wrong default currency, then reconciling numbers in another currency.
* Starting campaign setup before plan gates are validated.
