Embeds and Public Stats Reference
Embeds and public stats let you share selected performance views outside the dashboard. What this feature does
Typical use cases:- show campaign/link performance to stakeholders without full workspace access
- embed stats widgets in external pages/tools
- share selected public metrics for transparency pages
Core controls
Common controls include:- enable/disable public sharing on eligible entities
- generate embed snippets
- rotate or revoke shared embeds
- control which metrics are visible publicly
Visibility model
Public share should be treated as deliberately exposed data. Operator guidance:- Only publish metrics safe for external viewers.
- Avoid exposing sensitive customer/finance details.
- Review shared links/embeds quarterly.
- Revoke embeds when campaign confidentiality changes.
Workspace tab context
Embed operations are generally managed from workspace developer/settings surfaces. Related areas often include:- Embeds tab (generation and management)
- Link/campaign share settings (public stats toggles)
- Access/security controls for who can manage sharing
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause | First action |
|---|---|---|
| Embedded widget not loading | Disabled embed or invalid snippet | Regenerate and verify embed status |
| Public stats not visible | Public sharing toggle off | Enable sharing on the relevant resource |
| Unexpected data visible publicly | Overly broad public configuration | Disable share, review visibility settings |
Governance checklist
- Assign owner for all active public shares.
- Keep inventory of embedded surfaces.
- Revalidate shared metric scope before major releases.
- Disable stale embeds after campaign end.
